First Day of School

Yesterday was Calvin’s regular day at his daycare preschool, but Liams very first day of school.

Calvin has been going to Lightbridge Academy since April and its now a normal part of his routine. He doesn’t cry anymore or get sad when we leave him. It took about 3 months, but he’s good now. This will be his last month there and he’ll be going to Corporate Landing in October to be evaluated for his speech delay.

Liam’s first day at school was good for him, but we ran into some issues with his allergies. I almost had to bring him home because we didn’t have a medical consent form for the school in case they needed to use an epipen. I was told by the receptionist the forms wouldn’t be ready for 2 days. They ended up being completed in a few hours. He stayed the whole school day and the director assured me that they’d be extra careful with him. His first day was great and he didn’t cry until the end when he was the last one in the class. His grandpa didn’t know where the classroom was so it took a while to find him.
